Job Description:

Adheres to 5S/6S objectives & maintain a clean & safe work environment;

Operational experience in managing small facilities maintenance tasks and projects.

Review assignment, and completion of daily facilities PMs through CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)

Powered Industrial Vehicle experience requiring certification in forklift, scissor lift, single man lifts.

Assist in the setup of events and install/take-down decorative décor

Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, masonry, drywall, parking lots, sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clear drain stoppages, lighting, flooring, doors, windows & roof

Perform interior/exterior custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, vacuuming, steam cleaning, trash disposal, facility floor maintenance, landscaping, industrial cleaning around site infrastructure and equipment areas (fire risers, dock doors, barricades, walkways, equipment) and general “handyman” requests that require safely working with small hand tools and assembly.)

Assist maintenance team with MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) sourcing and purchasing requests.

Conduct routine and periodic property (Doors, Sprinklers & Racking) inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns, keep the property in good repair, and communicate concerns about the physical needs to management.

Maintain grand master and electronic lock systems and electrical security systems. Help monitor site infrastructure systems (building access card management, security cameras, electrical, mechanical, lighting, & plumbing, fire riser)

Support electrical wiring needs by installing and repairing switches, light ballasts, and other minor electrical systems.

Lighting maintenance throughout the facility, including outside perimeter, office areas and warehouse, such as high bay light bulb replacement from a scissor lift.

Assist with site contractor service escorts and safety spotting/zoning during site projects.

Assist with scheduling and directing site contractor services and PM’s, including sprinkler systems, fire risers, fire doors & fire extinguisher inspections, electrical maintenance, dock door and leveler maintenance and other supporting site equipment and services.

Follows all safety-related policies, procedures, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.

Performs other duties and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned from time to time by management

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field

Self-starter with ability to work independently

Valid Driver's License required

Experience with building systems such as fire suppression, air compressors, power distribution

Daily tasks may include plumbing, painting, rack repair, cleaning, general carpentry and fabrication skills.

277/480/3 phase electrical experience,• Low voltage AC/DC experience,• Some mechanical experience

Ability to work weekends and overtime
